I've always loved those idyllic beach communities in California. Malibu etc. There was always a part of me that wished I lived in some amazing beach house, and went surfing every day. When you're a kid in 80s Ireland and was watching 80s movies set up California, it seemed like a different planet. However nowadays I realise that the whole of California is going up like a fucking tinderbox. I don't know if it's global warming but it's really sad to see. There's no water there either.
