Have to give great credit to Boherbue. Been very strong in this grade for 4/5 years without ever getting over the line. For many teams there chance goes but for Boher it didn’t. Ballinhassig made a good game of it and if they keep some bit of a focus on football they’ll be back in contention again next year.
Great win in Munster for Boherbue 2-15 to Ballyvaughan Clare 0-1....the Clare lads are not the Clare champions it has to said ..on now to the first Cork , Kerry showdown in the semi final .
Gneeveguilla 3-14 Boherbue 0-9, wouldn’t read too much into it as we all know how strong Kerry clubs are at this grade really, Gneeveguilla probably strong all Ireland favourites, they were up senior at one stage in the past decade.
Was at Mallow for it. As Patman said Gneeveguila just a grade ahead really. Boher probably played as well as they could. Iveleary and Gneeveguilla would have been a fierce battle.
Went to the game myself. Gneeveguilla were excellent,playing Division 1 in Kerry against Boherbui playing Division 6 if u like in Cork. Plenty for Boher to work on .Kerry all Ireland champions in club junior again no doubt. Would have been some game Uibh Laoire V Gneeveguilla.
Our Intermediate team in Munster Newmarket are out 25th best team...in Kerry there Junior Champions Gneeveguilla are Kerry s 25 best team ...sums it up realy.
