He was nasty enough apparently with his patients.

Met him in the mid 80’s after retirement from the game. Not a warm person, probably due to having a professional attitude during the amateur period.
Nonetheless, a legend of the game.
The Welsh team of the early 70’s was fast and exciting. Played the game as it should be played. RIP JPRW
