I read Askwith's Feet in the Clouds 20 years ago now. That's when I first heard of the exploits of Joss Naylor

A true legend. he died a few days ago

Alistair Brownlee put him down as his sporting inspiration during the voxpop for the London Games

"The legend of Iron Joss" - he was inspriational for sure. An absolute legend in a sport of legends.

"Feet in the Clouds" is a top read.

Mother of Jebus

“Three years later, Naylor upped his total to 72 peaks: the equivalent of going up and down Everest, Ben Nevis, Snowdon and Kinder Scout in a single day, all in a blistering heatwave.”
