he was outside the city hall on his own with a placard about the lynch mob a few weeks ago protesting about the lord mayors choice for freedom of the city.
I nearly got off the bus and joined him.

Even though I'm not massively against water charges I have to say I admire people who resist changes like this and I'm in Galway today and I was told "fair play to ye in Cork for rebelling against this, we're like lambs up here". I didn't tell them how few were involved and took the praise like every Cork man should!

The problem is if they prevent meters being installed they will still be billed.
