Just on the subject of Iyers, parking is still there and there is a loading bay about 100 mtrs away. Agree with your post in general, what ever about parking, removing loading bays in pure nonsense.They've removed a rake of loading bays for cycle lanes that aren't being used.
Then when delivery trucks have to double park to unload, you have spas from the cycling coalition christies photographing them and putting it on their socials.
Its almost as if the local reps pushing this have no clue as to how businesses in a city centre operate
