I meant as a Nation do we not have the right to decide what we charge companies who come here.

Yes we do but this new agreement being discussed on this very thread that we haven't signed up to wants to limit the minimum to 15%. If we sign up to the agreement the lowest we can set the rate is 15%

Don't the Brits have some neck on them, they create a real mess as they pull out of Europe, claiming they want to take back control (fine). Barely over with and here they are calling the shot again, saying what we should all set taxes to.
