The BBC do not pay him to host Masterchef for nothing. This "thumb" is a self made multimillionaire through the food industry and he is hugely popular with the viewing public. You may say I am biased as he is a friend but the facts speak for themselves.

I am very good friends with Gregg and his wife. He has been subject to outrageous attacks over a Saturday supplement piece he participated in. He is a hard working businessman and a great all round guy. Jealousy is at the root of it as is so often the case.
