all depends on how nice you ask
2 tablespoons sugar
1 cup sticky rice
2 pinches of salt
1 cup of coconut milk
juice of half a lime
Make some sticky rice...(Glutinous rice)
Heat the coconut milk in a pot over medium heat. Stir constantly and let the coconut milk simmer. Don't let it boil as hard boiled coconut milk will curdle. Add lime juice, sugar and salt. Remove from heat. Pour 3/4 of the hot coconut milk over the hot sticky rice. Let it sit for 5 minutes. The sticky rice will absorb all the coconut milk. The rice should be a little mushy. Add some more of the coconut milk and lime mix over the rice just before you plate up... yummy
You can serve this, without the lime, with fruit as an different take on dessert too. Mango and Banana are lovely with it ;-)
