Brian Tyers is okay,the guy on Setanta Sports is awful.Ger Canning and Marty Morrissey make me want to shoot myself.Darragh Maloney would be the best of the lot now that Michael O'Muirteach has retired.I don't like Brian Carthy but it would be great if the there could be a GAA commentator other than Paudie Palmer that could get me excited.Bruce McAvaney and Dennis Commetti work so well together doing the AFL commentary.Id love to see a GAA commentary team with the chemistry that they have.
As for Eamonn Sweeney he's done a few decent articles about the Cork footballers but i'll never forgive him for his character assination of the greatest Cork hurler of the post JBM generation and imo the greatest player of his generation.Those comments were spot on btw.
