Developer plans to build refugee centre in Balbriggan as apartments plan falters

A developer who wants to build almost 100 build-to-rent apartments in Balbriggan town centre is drawing up plans to build a new refugee centre as an alternative because of a legal challenge to the proposal.

What I see as an issue is that illegal migration has been turned into an industry, with the migrants as a commodity to be exploited for state handouts.

Once the families moved which is all all the majority of the protestors wanted, they couldn't hitch their wagon to the Fermoy residents cart anymore so their 'support' evaporated and what little welcome they had was gone.
