It is terrible that someone had to lose their life but good people are being pushed to their limits by a system that does not punish wrong doers.

I don’t think this case will change anything, scumbags will still act scummy, but it would have been wrong to convict this man of murder.

The only thing that will change the behaviour of persistent and habitual offenders will be proper and meaningful sentencing with 5 years meaning 5 years. Not out after 18 months to make room for other offenders.

Someone can go into a centra, steal what they like, get arrested, go before a judge at 10am and have 149 previous convictions and be back out stealing from the same centra that afternoon giving the owner the two fingers. Until we see proper sentencing there will be more cases like this unfortunately.
