Dealers still doing scrappage?

Am completely useless with anything car related but I think the scrappage deal ended at the end of June? Somebody mentioned that some dealers e.g Renault are still running their own scrappage schemes? Anyone have any details?

While the scrappage scheme was going(until June 30th 2011) Renault were adding an additional discount to the Government discount when you traded in a 10 year old car They are continuing this until the end of August and are giving 2,500 discount off all cars when you trade in a 10 year old car, but in addition to this, they are adding a further discount which varies depending on which car you buy. This additional discount varies from 1,250 for a Renault Wind up to 3,300 on a Grand Megane - which has an overall discount of 5,800(2,500+3,300).

Volvo are also doing something similar, they are calling it "Swappage"

There is no restriction on having a 10 year old car, you just need to buy a new one.

Hyundai are doing a "Trade & Upgrade" for 7 to 10 year old cars

There are probably more doing simliar promotions, it's kind of playing around with the figures, but the offers seem to be good valuon the face of it, particularly the Renault one.
