Nobody deserves a punishment pass but plod should certainly be looking at fining cnuts like them. Problem is that unlike cars they've no identifying labels and a description of "he was middle-aged wearing lycra, cycling helmet, shades, and acting the utter tw@t on the road" doesn't help narrow it down much.

Dublin Cycling Campaign chairman Paul Corcoran said the majority of cyclists behave responsibly on the road but it was good to see the rules being enforced.

“I welcome the fact that they [the gardaí] are out there catching people who are actually breaking the rules. But in fairness with the pedestrian streets, people sometimes don’t have a choice because of the lack of infrastructure and cycle lanes available to actually cycle down a street.”

Eh HELLO!!!! All they have to do is dismount and push the bicycle down the street. It shouldn't be that difficult a concept to comprehend - even for a cyclist :roll:

The worst cyclists are the cunt who drive down here from Dublin and other shitholes like that, park up their cars in a row on the side of a country road and cycle around the gaff.
