Crossfit : Good or bad ?

To be honest i don't know too much about it and the most dialogue i have read around it involves either singing it's praises or dismissing it as a fad with terrible technique.

I am sure the truth lies somewhere in the middle.


Anyway, is crossfit good or bad?

People say that it's a great workout, that it combines powerlifting, kettlebells, gymnastics, running, rowing, calisthenics etc..



The detractors say it teaches poor technique which results in a lot of joint injuries especially down the line.
 
Most of these classes IMO are good if you already have perfected the technique of lifting something or shit like that. Otherwise..while they are better than doing nothing...you are doing exercises with a bad technique and probably not getting the benefit you think.
