I can personally attest to the fact that Mick Barry was one of the most decent and principled tds we had ,the only one I knew who went to jail over the bins that time,and many other interventions,you could have a decent chat,the odd argument even with him,he might not have been the best fit for me but He cared,many of my customers agreed ,famously years ago he even refused a donation from me,the woke thing probably cost the seat given the boundary and the Colm Burke transfers going to Kenny but would you rather the Blighe types get a platform .
I believe he will be greatly missed,I hope to see him again .
I agree with Outdoorthreadmill. The voters of CNC have spoken and rejected Marxism and woke nonsense.
 
Hard to believe his justice for George Nkencho campaign didn't pay off in Ballyvolane
The last time I saw him in the flesh was on the steps of the Court House in solidarity with an LGBTQ rabble protesting at the decision of a local business to change it's business model. If there's a hill to die on Mick, I thought to myself, this ain't it.
