Does anybody know what the panel is shaping up like? From a Duhallow perspective, there's two lads in with a shout - Kevin Cremin (Boherbue) & Paul Sheehan (Millstreet)

From Muskerry you would have the likes of Peter Kelliher, Sean Kelliher, James Moynihan and Barry Leary.

Still alarge enough extended panel at the moment. Think its being cut for the last time fairly soon.

Loads of hurlers involved there.

I assume Bohane won't be far off the panel? I also assume Burke from Glanmire will be the only East Cork lad.

Presume the team will be built around Steven Cronin - 3rd year minor this year. There must be 5/6 dual players - not sure if its possible to do justice to both much as they'd like to in an ideal world. Kevin Flahive from Douglas is a fine defender and I would be surprised if he's not challenging strongly for a spot - unfortunately last year they didn't do themselves justice either -not just a hurling malaise

Is there not a keeper from Kiskeam involved too? Does anyone know what players that were on the panel last year are on it this year?

Not a malaise really in football. With a bit more cop on when in scoring positions they might have beaten what was a fine Tipperary team (which beat Kerry twice).


Unlucky with draw too - out after one loss whereas Kerry had three bites at the cherry.

In hurling, we have looked well off the standard for a few years now, with shambles of 2011 and again last year particularly woeful and the malaise extending to u21 level.

As well as that the minor footballers were unlucky to lose to Tyrone in the 2010 all ireland final so the minor footballers have been operating at a much higher level over the past few years than the minor hurlers.

The draw setup was insane last year. First round against the all ireland champs for us and gone. Kerry lost twice and progressed.
