People can say what they want but there is nothing soft about this Cork team. They've shown incredible steel and balls all year. Clowns like Canning from, of all places, Galway can go on about softness all they like.
It's not softness that lets lads waltz through the defence, it is a basic inability to defend skillfully. Yes Clare are cynical, but some of their best defending came when they had men on yellows. Their full backs are streets ahead of Cork when it comes to getting a hurley in or holding a man up.
Agreed, Hoggie is gone, Hoggie is gone, I nearly fought a fella a while ago, hoggie was poor enough but Connolly and Hayes were shocking, they're 10 years younger than him, Barrett shocking
Terribly disappointed tonight, but I'm so proud to be born and reared in Cork, and so grateful to my dad for introducing me to this wonderful game.
Post mortems and proper analysis will have to wait, I just hope today's lose won't set this team back like '21 did.

Devastated that we couldn't get across the line today
1. Puck out strategy failed
2. Not enough forwards delivered
3. Substitutions didn't work by and large
4. Johnny Murphy seemed to give majority of big calls against us
