Cork Hurlers - Part 2

You're missing the point. I said its tough on them that they seem to be out of favour. CL was a starter for almost all the league, had one dodgy game and that's it for him. Others seem to have got second chances, not him. Think that's tough, that's all.
You're ignoring the history of his entire inter county career to date and just counting the league?
The league is an entirely different level to what we saw out there tonight. We know what to expect from him based on history, scrapping for ball in a dogfight like tonight has never been his thing.
For Lehane to play, Horgan needs to be injured or subbed. Like for like.

No offence now, but imagine for all your negative comments during the game as usual, you didn’t leave one positive comment after getting the win, ya miserable bastard.

Anyone who isn't just taking the moment, kicking back and really enjoying the way we won that game is to be pitied, they're wasting their time watching sport.
Tis moments like this that we live for, they don't come around too often, live them.

I travel 200km to follow my beloved team and I’m commenting now because I celebrated among my own till late.
Today was one of the great days. We weren’t soft today. We gifted 2-2 and still won.
Our goalie is a liability and hopefully won’t feature next year but we’re stuck with him.
NOL had a great game, ED got a ridiculous yellow card and his replacement was cleaned out. SOD is a liability. He was responsible for at least one goal today.
TOM vindicated my view that we should never start without him. But maybe he should play elsewhere. But I would not pick 15 ahead of him.
I’m a fan of CJ but RD blocks the middle better. Both should be on the team and I’ll leave this to management.
At 7 I’d have chosen GM and today would have supported this.
Midfield did well.
HF was excellent but DD ran out of steam and we don’t have a replacement who can win a high ball.
Our FF line was excellent. Hoggy is Hoggy and he’s one of the greats. I think AC will rank in the future with the great forwards. Today BH proved he has it
I’m a happy man but I’m particularly happy for Hoggy and Pat Ryan / two special people.

Un fucking believable!! Tonight is what I hoped PR and the players would bring (but will freely admit didn’t believe would happen) and they delivered in spades! 7pm on a sunny Saturday evening in may with a full heaving Pairc , it was made for a magical night! The way they played reminded me of why I was so enthusiastic about PR taking over in the first place. Now let’s build from here and show them why we are CORK!!!!

Phenomenal. To a man, they stood up and were counted last night. Never laid down. Too many heroes to speak. Just delighted they got a win, won that tight game and are still in with a shout of getting out of Munster. A few people getting a bit giddy as well but as long as it doesn't rub off players before next Sunday then we'll be fine. Very important to just get our part of job done next Sunday and then hope that the chips fall for us then.
