Cork Hurlers - Part 2

It’s much harder to break into the Limerick team in fairness. Physically our lads are miles off the conditioning of the likes of Cathal O’Neill. That’s as important to the transition as talent which no doubt our lads have.
That's a fair point about how hard it is to break into Limerick's first team, but in that case how can you say with much confidence that those Limerick players you named have successfully made the jump to senior level?

As for conditioning, on what are you basing this claim? English and O'Brien both played for Limerick's U2Os against Cork last year - they didn't stand out (on TV at any rate) as being much better conditioned than their Cork opponents.

What I would say is that those four players are all very talented, probably as talented as any four Cork players of similar ages - but Cork imo have more players of around the same ages who are at or close to that level.

Well accepting that as fact they are coming into a far more talented team so those numbers may still not be enough. Cork need a Joyce level player coming through every year and I’m just not seeing it yet. I sure hope I’m wrong!

We really don't though if James Owens needs to gift these so called unbeatable all Ireland champions ten points in order to scrape past a squad in their first year of management.

That was just one reason we got knocked out last year. Going missing in the matches against Clare, Limerick and Tipp for 10/15 minutes is another. The home team gets the breaks in a tight match.

Who were the full back line? I was at the game but they were following men so it was hard to identify a full back line per se. Who specifically are you referring to?
Look at O Connor and Keohe goals and you will see what I mean...numbers are on their jerseys
Perhaps you have match programme?
