Hopefully Waterford will be waiting in the long grass for Clare next week.

It's in our own hands as far as I can tell?
We need to beat either Clare or Limerick away. Another draw might be enough.

Cahill will Be furious with some of the goals Tipp gave away.
They really were 6 points a better team tonight.

Oddly the draw is a great result for Waterford if they can beat are and Tipp. They might sneak third

Funny aul game, Roche, Downey and Darragh Fitz probably our 3 best players last weekend had very tough times of it tonight.

Damien Cahalane was monstrous in defence from where I was sitting. Could we see Tim O Mahony starting the next day maybe?

Credit where it’s due to cahalane. I would’ve switched lehane in for barrett at half time. Great to see the subs come in and make such an impact. Padraig power will feel hard done but obviously the call to bring in Hayes worked

Jesus my heart! That last 10/15 mins was something else.

We were certainly lucky to get the draw, but it was great to see them come back I to it from 6 or 7 down.

Poor for long parts but great heart in the end when it looked gone. Still buzzing, could have snatched it but would have absolutely been a robbery so we’ll take the draw.


6 day turnaround was definitely tough on the team too, hopefully we’ll benefit from this next time round with a two week break and Clare facing Waterford in the meantime, don’t see any reason to fear Ennis.

Missed the game stuck in Heathrow for the 2nd week in a row ffs. By all accounts reading online we got away with it but that’s championship hurling. Cork were the better team against Galway last year and got knocked out of the AI QF. Lots to work on going to Ennis and I think this team are well capable of coming away with the win

Could be wrong but I thought they played Eoin Downey too far out, he ended up in shooting positions twice. In the league he was impressive closer to goal in full back line. I know he plays half back for u20 but I feel at senior level for now he'd be better further back
