Cork Footballers

In no interview did he mention that?

But wouldn't doubt that those lads or more will be packing their bags
He did in the paper where he got his Doctor Degree he said his dad was from there and that once he was finshed up this year with Cork and Douglas he would like to explore Aussie land.

Can’t understand how Powter was left on bench until last 15 minutes, when there were so many passengers out there. Cork left this game behind them. In saying that, the referee’s last free against Taylor was erroneous, and the Louth goal should have been a free out. Cork could still have won it, but for wasteful shooting in front of goal in last 15 minutes.

This is what he said
On completion of his internship, Seán hopes to go travelling before pursuing a career in sports medicine. “The plan for the future is to survive the internship and then maybe see Australia where my father is from.

it was so bizarre how long he was on the bench. He came on in the 57 minute after they just scored. And in his time on the pitch he set up 2-1 and swung the game on its head….. because he decided to run straight at them. Didn’t happen all game

Very disappointing lads and ladies. Louth are a coming team perhaps, doing well under Ger Brennan. Mickey Harte must get some credit too. This isn't Cork arrogance but we should be beating Louth, even in an "away" championship fixture. We're not good enough but we're not as good as we can be as a county and that is frustrating. On a separate note- to illustrate the general indifference and apathy towards Cork footballers, C103 FM didnt even send a commentator up to the match, instead using the local Louth LMFM commentary.

Oh Christ a day after a loss and fellas are already starting on who won't be there next year or should retire.
Silly season has officially started.

There's posters here saying Powter is gone the last 3 years like.

Thankfully the article and context has been posted.

Leave off the silly season till November or December lads.

The ‘media centre’ was tiny.

RTE and local radio would have filled it.

Excellent pitch though - and great organization / stewarding for parking, lovely weather, great people, shit day.

I parked down a boreen & walked 700m in .. as I was passing the field carpark on the opposite side from the pitch the woman minding it said “you should’ve parked here for €10 & saved your legs” … she said I’ll know better the next time & that she was a Louth woman living in innishkeen

I said I’ll see you in Castletownbere for the league match next year

I parked in a field across the road for free.
