The book (Fionn: Defence of Ráth Bládhma) is the first in a series initiated as an antidote to the 'Celtic Lite' stuff being pumped out by overseas publishers. It seem hard to believe but Irish fiction writers rarely (if ever) write stories based on Irish mythology.
