Aistriúchán beag

An bhfuil fíos ag aon duine conas a duirt tú e sin? -> "Yes we can .... if you have a ticket?"

"Is féidir linn .... má ticéad ort!" ... doesn't look right :(

I'm not the best person to answer this but one of the problems with direct translation with the Obama phrase is that there isn't really a word in Irish for "yes". Sea is just 'Is ea' as far as I'm aware. "Sea, is feidir linn" doesn't sound right to me. As a result "is feidir linn" really just means "we can" but in Irish you answer questions with the verb and not a word so its fine to just use that.

I'd say "Is feidir linn...má tá ticéad agat".

Could possibly use "Is féidir linn ....fad is ticéad agat "

Yes we can , as long as you've a ticket .

If that looks nicer to ya .

Could contract the fad is , to Fad's ( makes it three words and three words )
