i once drove a raligh grifter down that hill , down bridge street ant across the bridge. chriatmas day 82 or 83 . no traffic then.

actually, we used plat football every sunday outside the sin e and oconnors on coburg street. jacktes on the road for the goals, the bells of shandon in the background.
no traffic in the inner city on sundays back then, peice and quiet.

all gone now though.
 
What about Hadji Beys - the Turkish Delight shop.
The Palace Cinema - ever before 'twas the Everyman.
The back entrance into P J O Heas is probably there since 1143 BC.
O Brien's ice cream parlour for a Nickerbocker Glory.
Paddy Barry's pub on the corner.
There was an underground bar (Subway ??) where Crowley's is now. Remember seeing Jimmy McCarthy & Freddie White playing there.

The second hand book/record/musical instrument shop.
