Any opinions on the the following, circa 2002 Pajero, Patrol, Landcruiser, etc. All diesel, 5 door 7 seaters. What would ye think is best buy? I'm reckoning the Patrol at the moment....

Patrol or Pajero. Patrol because it's got a luverly big engine and makes a beautiful noise.

the ol' man's been driving a landcruiser for the last 7 years or so and swears by 'em.

and you'd get a lot of bang for your buck with the Ssanyong Rextons.

of course i would say the latter as i'm selling one. . .

That's true. I can see the sense in the commercial ones like. You'd pay as much for one of them as you would for a Ford Focus. Big, comfortable and cheap. Not bad really. Not gonna win any beauty contests but some people don't care about that.

A seven seat Pajero is the one to go for. As good if not better than a Landcruiser. Just as reliable and more powerful. The 7 seat ones are generally very well spec'd with leather seats, climater control, cruise control and most of them are auto. Also they are that little bit cheaper than a Landcruiser. They will go for ever as well.
