And if our top 3 grades went out into Munster like they should, we might even do better

i was at the final last Sunday ,that free kick scored by S O D was as good as i have ever seen 14 yard line against the wind i would have given 10/1 that he would score. Ballygarvan have only themselves to blame but Inniscarra have some heart,the did the same against Castlemartyr a few year ago.

Completely agree with you on the free except I would have it even longer odds to score from where he was. If you look at the video of it you can see from the trees behind the goal and the flags on the sideline, just how blustery it was, and he was kicking the free into the teeth of it. If he tried it 50 times he might only score it once. Was unbelievable skill at any stage of a game never mind with the pressure of winning a county final on his shoulders.

I thought it was hugely impressive when I first saw the clip but a couple of people I've spoken to since who were at the game said the same as lads above, that the clip didn't do the kick justice that the conditions and wind were worse than comes across. It was the type of kick you'd be messing around with at training or something but never expect to get in a game

It's on the county board website today. Fair play to the county board having all venues, dates , times circulated before Christmas. It's definitely a help to families trying to plan holidays and family functions next year.

It's all part of the game in ways but it's actually sickening too to hear the shite the Cork hurlers have been getting since the All Ireland both on the pitch and from outside the wire.
