2022 Premier Intermediate football

It's ridiculous at this stage, denying clubs a chance to get to Croke Park. All because they too scared to relegate teams that clearly weren't up Senior to Prem Inter. "You are being relegated but you still are Senior" Pure nonsense.
Why should we rearrange everything just so one club has a better chance to get to Croke Park?

Who said anything about rearranging anything? All we need do is rename Senior A to Prem Intermediate, which it actually is anyway. Instead of having Senior A as some sort of halfway house to appease those clubs that weren't good enough.

No need to rearrange, just a name change. Currently 5 championships under county board level, 2 senior, 2 intermediate plus premier junior.

Why not keep 5 championships but go one senior, 2 intermediate, 2 junior
So- Senior , premier intermediate, intermediate A, premier junior, junior A

In that case this year Cork would be represented by St Michaels and kilshannig in Munster club

Had Kanturk somehow won today, they'd be nearly favourites for the All-Ireland. It's not the Cork grading or naming that's wrong, it's Kerry. Rathmore are not an intermediate grade team in any other county. It's unfair on the other counties that have the right number of teams at the different grades they must face the likes of Rathmore and Fossa.

The Senior A grade also prevents the divisional sides from getting too strong, unlike in Kerry where they dominate.
