2018 Junior Hurling Championship

It was on the echo last week.. I think he should be made transfer in both codes not just one that is being used to enhance his intercounty chances

wants to transfer in football and play hurling in Cobh. few points on it.

1. He wouldn't start for Nemo. the players they have are unreal. So if he is not a guaranteed starter for Nemo inter county is out of the question one would think.

2. He will play for Imokilly in this years senior hurling championship. But don't believe he will start with the likes of Michael Russle, Colm Spillane, Niall Motherway all returning to the fold.

Whats the official reasoning behind the move? Surely if you live somewhere else than you play both codes with the place you're moving unless they don't have for example a hurling team. AFAIK he lives in Waterford.

If he was applying for an intercounty transfer he would have to transfer in both codes. But that doesn't apply in this case.

He would of course start for Nemo. He is more of a footballer than hurler imo.

Its a joke that players from clubs such as Cobh are permitted to transfer to big city clubs.

For such a town as Cobh the CCB should be doing everything they can to promote and develop GAA in the town

Mick Daly won an All-Ireland with Nemo he also won All-Ireland medals with the Cork Junior footballers and the Cork Intermediate hurlers...
