I wonder did the various GPA Players Of The Year have to pay tax on the cars they won.
Maybe the cars they won had been given to Marty Morrissey first so were only worth €750 with him as a previous owner.

Perhaps a representative from Revenue might wish to contribute to the discussion here

Inter county players are claiming between €5k and €10k plus in expenses. I think even Leitrims player travel costs were something like €220k last year.
The gaa community aren’t opposed to players reasonable expenses.
Costs and inter county set ups are out of control. The incoming president has all of this as his priority no.1

At a guess, most of Leitrim's players are probably working in Dublin, Sligo, Galway, etc, which may account for their high travel expenses.
There's f*ck all jobs in Leitrim, unless you work in the civil service .
