The Hurling Thread

Imagine being so arrogant that you think you can beat the reigning all Ireland champions at home twice in a few weeks when you had the opportunity to take them to a neutral venue…..home venue is worth on average 3/4 points, that and the naïveté marking gillane are an indictment of Clare management, you won’t hear that from the likes of daly and O’Connor of course , how many Munster finals have they lost at this stage
Spot on, some Munster Championship all told.

I think the reffing is very inconsistent. That fella was blowing up for Hurley holding all day today and another day some other fella wouldn’t bat an eyelid at it. Still Clare missed about 4 chances before that shambles at the end.

Ref was never gonna give a free there at the end...someone could have been decapitated and he'd have waived it on.

Clare will be kicking themselves, some really poor shots that dropped short or wide. They scored the goal, got another point and then wasted 3 or 4 glorious point chances in a about 3 mins. Limerick chipped away at the lead before HT.

Not putting Morey on earlier cost Clare too.

Limerick manic defending in the second half.
