Transfer Window Thread

I think if Chelsea hold their nerve, keep Potter, then in a couple of seasons they will be the dominant team in England.

Potter builds teams slowly and the talent at that club now is frightening.

Unlikely to have CL football as a "distraction" next season too.

They've got potential to do quite well even if they give Potter flying orders.

This relates to Alex's MacAllister.

My reading of this is: the clause specifies particular "destination" clubs and the finances required for each to get a deal done may differ...?

Kante is in the final year of his Chelsea contract and doesn't seem keen to accept a 2 year deal.

Fabulous player on his day but, at 32, summer suitors should be wary nervous about giving him too long / big a deal given his injury issues appear to be ramping up.

This move feels a very good fit.

No sane European club would give him a big money 3-4 year deal given his age & recent injury history.
