Cork were brilliant for three-quarters of that match. They lost their concentration for a while, but defended like demons and fully deserved the win. That is a very good Clare team and they took virtually every chance they got, which, unfortunately was not the case with Cork. Their spirit, however, is not in question.

We got out of jail tonight, what is the obsession with short passing and running with the ball? And this craic of going for goal when a simple point was on? This could come back to haunt us if not rectified. Having said all that our fellas showed great character to win that

We won't complian about winning speeches, we're not getting too many of them lately, have to savour them
