I caught that over the weekend. Beyond frustrating. They regularly act in ways that no other licensed business would be allowed to act.

Aye, imagine a shop offering items for sale and not selling to certain customers.

They'd be brought up in two minutes and shut down.

How bookmakers get away with this is beyond me.

It would be an interesting project to take some of my soccer betting to the shops next season and see how long it would take to have my card marked. It's been ages since I've had any dealings with shops so wouldn't have a clue what the payout thresholds would be.

No doubt the curiosity would turn to frustration fairly quickly.

It's a dose but if I want to have 20 to 30 quid on a horse, I'll split it up in 2 or 3, 10 quid bets once the price is available.
