Reus - Barcelona

Anybody got any experience of flying into Reus and transferring to Barcelona? Been told it's a bit of a nightmare by an esteemed member of these very forums.

Just wondering if things have improved of late.

Genuine question - if spending a day or two in Barcelona, can anyone point me in the direction of a good hotel to use as a base for sightseeing, Noucamp etc
