Vestiges of Place is a showcase of paintings by local artist Raphael Llewellyn. A native of Fermoy Raphael holds an Hons BA in Fine Art and a Masters in Art & Process from MTU Crawford College of Art and Design, Cork.
Raphael’s subject matter is rooted in her everyday glimpses’ and observations of the local environment. Her paintings evolve both from the immediacy of experience and memory, focusing on the human experience of place and our relationship with the environment.
Raphael is a member of the Lavit Gallery Cork and a member of the visual Artist Ireland (VAI)
She is currently involved in a drawing research project with CCAD Drawbridge at MTU and Sample Studios, Cork.
