FESTIVAL CLUB The Oars & guests Niall & Caoimhin Vallely plus the Dagenham Yanks €15
The Oars are a new contemporary duo featuring songwriter and guitarist Eoin Coughlan and multi-instrumentalist Brian Morrissey. Last year they performed with Robbie Williams and Garron Noone to 80,000 people in Croke Park. Their recently released album was recorded and produced in Louisiana by multi-Grammy winner Dirk Powell, who said ‘Listening to The Oars, the tunes and grooves are rock solid and always moving’.
DAGENHAM YANKS
Formed in 2017 by frontman Mark O’Sullivan as a platform to express his songs, The Dagenham Yanks quickly established themselves as a powerhouse in the cork live music scene,
Cerebral, mature, joyously melodic, a band that strives to make well crafted dance-able songs.
Recently joined by fiddler Eileen Healy,
the yanks find themselves fusing traditional instrumentation with the contemporary rock/pop form to create a unique musical experience
