On Culture Night, Friday 18th September, the Butter Museum will celebrate the cultural phenomenon of the STATION by staging a station dining table at the museum with the help of Dr Regina Sexton.The museum doors will open for free between 5 and 9 with butter making and the celebration of the station heritage, a (now fading) rural tradition. Eliciting memories of stations, the night will be both a fun celebration and a research opportunity combined.
