Kick off Culture Night with Microcultures, a magical mini-parade of shoebox-sized floats where big imagination comes in small form. Create your own float with artist Jaki Coffey on September 12th (free workshop), or make one at home (solo or with friends), then join our small but mighty parade from the Community Hall to Greywood Arts.Stay on for live music with Merkaba—a genre-blending duo moving from folk to rock to Irish traditions. Featuring Karen Jordan and Paul Cremin, their sound weaves rich baritone vocals with haunting melodies and rhythmic guitar for a beautifully layered acoustic set. Acoustic sounds to please all ears! Meet our resident artists in their studios and get involved with textile art activities. Step into the Loom – Mantras (Interballo) studio and meet Karl Logge and Marta Romani (Sardinia). Take part in a participatory weaving project exploring making as a space for shared memory, collective learning, and creative action.A night of making, music, and miniature magic—all welcome.
