The Big Meeting documentary tells the story of the legendary Durham Gala, the annual trade union march which is held in Durham City each year on the second Saturday of July.
This is a colourful occasion of working class solidarity involving thousands of trade unionists and former miners and should be experienced.
The film is written and directed by Daniel Draper who also directed 'Iron Ladies' shown to acclaim last year
