Two million people in Gaza are still not safe. Every day, they face challenges most of us would find unimaginable: finding food, getting clean water, identifying hospitals that are still functioning so children can receive medicines and treatments, and finding the strength to mourn family members and friends lost amid the devastation of collapsed homes, schools and universities. In the midst of such loss, urgent questions remain: where is dignity, and where is justice?Still Not Safe: Life in Gaza during the ‘ceasefire’ is a 2026 short documentary by Trócaire that follows the daily lives of Mahmoud, a father; Yasmin, a mother; and several others as they try to hold on to hope in circumstances that often feel hopeless.
