Ancient inspiration meets modern expression. This intimate exhibition showcases a series of small-scale, figurative stone sculptures, each drawing from the timeless strength and grace of Atlantes figures—the architectural giants of antiquity that bore the heavens on their shoulders.
In this collection, the artist explores the interplay of burden and resilience, using expressive forms to capture moments of tension, vulnerability, and endurance. Each piece invites you to reflect on the weight we carry and the beauty of human strength.
Exhibited in a Blackwater Valley makers gallery space, this exhibition offers a close, contemplative experience of the artistry and emotion carved into stone.
Event Opening Saturday, 1st February 2-6pm. Blackwater Valley Makers is open Monday to Saturday, 10am to 6pm.
