In September 2023 Mick Flannery released his new record ‘Goodtime Charlie.’ It has been heralded as his finest work to date. Receiving critical acclaim from both sides of the pond, with Rolling Stone calling it “Powerful Americana,” The Irish Times states that "Flannery continues to prove himself to be one of our finest singers, songwriters and sonic storytellers". The Boston Globe - in a feature on Mick, observes that ‘"Flannery has mastered the art of subtle persuasion,” while Hot-press simply stated that the record is a “powerful, life-affirming album.”
Going straight to No. 2 in the official charts and No. 1 in the independent charts, Mick has toured in support of ‘Goodtime Charlie’ since its release to packed houses across North America, Europe, UK and Ireland. Mick has also been announced for the SXSW festival in Austin next March, as well as the Haldern Pop Festival in Germany in the summer.
