Three of Cork’s most exciting new acts share the stage for a night that moves from wild folk-punk chaos to groove-heavy indie and intimate songwriting.
West Cork’s Leevy bring their feverish blend of folk, punk and Irish storytelling — banjos, whistles, heavy guitars and songs that swing between surreal humour and darker, stranger tales. Their live shows have built a reputation for being loud, cathartic and a bit unhinged in the best way.
Smithereens arrive with a totally different kind of energy: a loose, high-spirited mix of jazz, funk and grunge that feels made for packed rooms and dancing crowds. Since bursting onto the Cork scene in 2024 they’ve been building serious momentum with sold-out local gigs and a reputation for chaotic, joyful live sets.
Opening the night is Hánt, the songwriting project of multi-instrumentalist Dylan Howe, whose music leans into the quieter side of things — raw, emotional songs carried by voice, piano and guitar, creating the kind of intimate atmosphere that pulls a room in close.
