Cork based Alternative Rockers Paradox play The Poor Relation stage on Friday Oct. 31st for a night of Halloween Grunge joined by special guests. Fancy Dress Grunge Legend's attire is welcome and strongly encouraged.
Paradox are no stranger to the Cork music scene including the Crane Lane Theatre stage having played many full house shows as well as performing memorable Nirvana nights since 2014 for Kurt Cobain's yearly anniversary.
Paradox were originally formed in 1997 by brothers Pete Mac and Mike Mac. The early Paradox sound was heavily influenced by the Grunge Era of the 90's. Paradox have released 4 studio albums to date along with numerous singles. Singer Songwriter Pete Mac has also released 2 solo albums. The debut Paradox album 'Circle of Growth' was recorded in Los Angeles in 2000 and released on a US label. Their second album 'Sacred' was recorded and released in 2004, 'Corporate Pollution' was released in 2011 and 'Chapters' released in 2015.
2020 saw the release of their latest single 'Welcome to the Happy Place' however
