A new exhibition at the Cork Public Museum explores the Bronze Age from a different perspective. Showcasing the work done by UCC postgraduate students, the exhibition explores life in the deep past (2500-500 BCE) and presents a dynamic, connected society shaped by metalworking and trade. Through intricate objects this show examines aspects of daily and ritual life – metalworking, feasting, luxuries, and burial traditions – revealing how people lived, created, expressed identity, and commemorated their dead.
