Having spent his working life as an Environmental Health Officer he has recently retired and lives with his wife in the shadows of the Curlew mountains in North Roscommon.
Despite working fulltime he made space over the years to record three albums of original songs, tour the Folk Clubs of the UK extensively, tour Germany on a number of occasions and performed occasionally in Spain, USA, Australia and New Zealand.
He is an avid vegetable gardener, enjoys travel and cycling. He has recently completed a solo cycle from Achill, Co. Mayo to Auschwitz, Poland.

Please Note: The venue operates a pop up café which offers a range of liquid refreshments in exchange for CASH ONLY on the night. The Richmond Revival is in the centre of Fermoy and is accessible via Bus Éireann. There are also a number of ACCOMMODATION options available onsite ranging from budget double and twin rooms with a shared bathroom to a high end luxury suite. Please further note that by purchasing a ticket to this event you are effectively, as part of your admission fee, are joining the Richmond Reivial cultural activity appreciation club and are bound by the rules of said club. Namely, No alcohol is permitted to be brought onto the premisis. Abusive behaviour towards volunteer staff will not be tolerated and general antisococial behaviour including tresspass onto private areas of Richmond House, which is a private home will result in immediate suspension of club membership and admittence/ejection from the building. Otherwise, all is cool and you are welcome!
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS: A minimum of 7 days notice ahead of the event date is required for refund requests. Refunds cannot be guaranteed if the request is made with less than 7 days notice. If the event is cancelled by the organiser, refunds will be issued automatically.
