Áine Duffy’s Duffbox Youth Beats will offer teenagers and young adults an opportunity to explore DJing and music performance in a welcoming environment. Participants will learn the basics of mixing music before taking part in an open-deck session and experimenting with their own sound. Joining the team is Natalie McCormack, a.k.a. NATMAC, a Cork-based DJ, artist, and community hero. These sessions are designed for those who have never touched a pair of decks or those who are already dropping beats. The workshop starts with the fundamentals of DJing before opening into an Open Deck session.
