Leeside’s newest festival – Cork Ska & Reggae festival partnered with Risings Sons Brewery is in it’s first year of existence. Filling the gap in the cities festival market which has been long overdue for a good foot stomping and jamming summer vibe party.
Crane Lane Theatre , Phoenix St and Poor Relation, Parnell Place are the first two venues to host with the plan to add more in the coming years.
Crane Lane Theatre will have live music and DJ’s throughout the weekend with late closing each night until 2.30am Friday & Saturday and 2am Sunday.
Line up includes: The Service, The Bionic Rats, Skatuesques, Natty Wailer & The Reggae Vibes, The Lights Runners, The Fitzafrenic and Gypsyish. All of the events are Free.
The Poor Relation will become the “Dub Hub” with bands and DJ’s throughout the weekend and Also Rock Steady Food Co. will be bring a special Reggae BBQ on the Sunday afternoon.
Featured acts include, Cian Finn, Wiggle and Undercurrent club night.
This year the focus will be on the best national bands and DJ’s on offer
