Twas manys a wild night was born of a last minute recording session between Covid lockdowns in October 2020. The country had tentatively reopened with many restrictions still in place and playing music with others was rare. Bewildered with
the situation, Alan Finn rang his good friends Joanne Quirke and Paul Clesham to arrange a ‘final’ session before pubs and venues closed again. This session turned into a recording session and Fionn O’Hanlon was drafted in to provide accompaniment completing the quartet.
Our music was played over the airwaves to overwhelmingly positive feedback we were encouraged to consider taking the project further.
